PAYMENT POLICY: A valid credit or debit card is required to purchase your scheduled event and is to be paid in full within 48 hours of your reservation acceptance email. If the reservation is made within 72 hours of the scheduled event time then payment needs to be paid in full upon receiving the reservation acceptance email.
CANCELLATION/REFUND/RESCHEDULE POLICY: ***There will be a $50 cancellation fee for all events canceled after payment is received*** Events canceled up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled event will be refunded in full ***less the cancellation fee***. There will be NO REFUND if the event is canceled within 72 hours of the scheduled event. Customers who do not cancel and are not present at their location when we arrive are liable for the entire cost of their party, plus any administrative or legal fees we incur. We will make every effort to postpone/reschedule your event, with no penalty, to another date should cancellation be necessary. Please note that once your party is confirmed, you are committed to the terms and conditions.
TRAVEL SURCHARGE: The following communities are within our local service area: Aromas, Carmel, Carmel Valley (west of Klondike), Castroville, Chualar, Corral de Tierra, Del Rey Oaks, Elkhorn, Gonzales, Las Lomas, Marina, Monterey, Moss Landing, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Prunedale, Royal Oaks, Salinas, Seaside, Spreckels. The following communities are available for an additional $45 travel surcharge (Minimum 2-hr party, Friday-Sunday only): Aptos, Freedom, La Selva Beach, Watsonville, Capitola, Soquel, Pajaro, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, San Juan Bautista, Hollister, Soledad. These towns are available for an additional $90 travel surcharge (Minimum 2-hr party, Friday-Sunday only): Gilroy, Greenfield, King City, Morgan Hill, Felton. All other areas, please contact us for a quote.
BAD WEATHER: Our parties go on, rain or shine. The EZPZ Video Game Party trailer was designed for all types of weather conditions. The theater is insulated and climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. There may be occasions when the weather does not want to cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather (lightning, very high winds, flooding and/or extremely heavy rains, etc.) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff and equipment. If the threat of these storms threatens your party and you are aware in advance (pending or anticipated storm or other strong weather event) please contact us to begin the rescheduling. Rain and/or high winds may prevent us from opening the side door containing 2 outside TVs. As this is out of our control, there will be no partial refund if this happens.
BEACH AREAS: Due to local regulations, we cannot hold events at most beach access areas.
SUPERVISED CHILDREN/SPECIAL NEEDS GUESTS: Children ages 6 and under as well as special needs guests requiring attention must have an attentive adult (NOT an older sibling playing games) with them at all times. Infants and toddlers cannot be allowed to wander in the Mobile Game Theater, nor can they be given an unused game controller so they can “pretend they’re playing too” as controllers are expensive to replace. The Game Coach will give the customer one courtesy request to have the above mentioned guests attended to; upon additional incidents, the Game Coach will stop the party until the situation is resolved by the customer, with no credit for lost party time.
ALCOHOL/DRUGS: You may serve alcohol at your event or party; however, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or cut short any party or booking when alcohol is being served if inebriated behavior becomes an issue. Drugs of any sort will not be tolerated in or around the EZPZ Video Game Party equipment. Any observed use of narcotics, including legal medical marijuana, will result in the termination of the party immediately.
DAMAGE/INJURY: Neither EZPZ Video Game Parties, KanaKim Entertainment LLC, nor any of its employees shall be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to position the theater in a specific location. This includes both above ground and below ground property/equipment damage. Additionally, EZPZ Video Game Parties reserves the right to charge the client’s credit card for damages to the trailer or equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage of same by client’s guests. Neither EZPZ Video Game Parties nor its employees assume any responsibility for any injuries sustained on the client’s property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries are the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.
FOOD/DRINK: Food and/or beverages are not allowed in the Mobile Game Theater at any time. Customer is ultimately responsible for enforcing this, as the Game Coach is often helping guests. A $25 minimum cleaning fee will be charged against the customer’s credit card if the Game Coach is forced to clean up food or beverage spills.
EXTENSION OF PARTY/EVENT: EZPZ Video Game Parties, upon customer’s request, may extend party beyond scheduled reservation at a current rate of $99/hour (no fractions thereof), at the Game Coach’s discretion. Please do not attempt to negotiate extra time for a lower rate or in exchange for food or other items/services.
PICTURES: While your party is in effect the Game Coach may be taking pictures of the party from inside the trailer. We may use these photos on our social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter as well as our web site. If you do not want our Game Coach taking these pictures or posting them online, please contact us prior to the party or let the Game Coach know immediately upon our arrival. This is a service we provide to our guests so they can be sure to capture their party as it happens.
INVITATIONS: A customized electronic invitation in the form of a JPG or PDF file will be emailed to the customer upon reservation of an event and submission of deposit.
TIPS: The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for good service is a great idea, but not required.
OUR TRUCK/TRAILER: When the truck pulls up, we will try to park in the most level & flat area or logical spot to accommodate your party. Often we park in your neighborhood street, so you might want to let your neighbors know (in case they may object) or let us know if you have a preferred spot for us. We might also have to block a driveway. **Please keep in mind that our Game Coach will not park anywhere that may cause a danger to persons, property or equipment. Our truck and trailer combination is very long and we will need a minimum of 55 feet of space to park. Additionally our Game Coach will never disconnect the truck from the trailer at a party/event without prior approval nor park off of a hardened surface.
VIDEO GAME RATINGS: EZPZ Video Game Party will not play any “M” rated or higher game in the video game theater without authorization from the client prior to the party/event or adult approval at the time of the event. If you wish to have an “M” rated game or higher at your party/event please contact us, indicating the game you prefer or let the Game Coach know as soon as you can after he gets there.
